Bar Hardware is used to:

 

> Splice conductor bars together to make longer runs ( Splice Joints are included with bar assemblies that have "-J" on the end of the Part Number.  The joints listed below are "spares"

> Cover the joints (these are NOT include with the bar assembly

> Cap the bar ends (also not included with conductor bar assemblies)

> Guide the collector assemblies on and off the bar ("Pickup Guides")

> Provide some additional hardware in case they are misplaced at the job site
