RETRIEVE APPLICATIONS

A "retrieve" application is the least rigorous for a cable reel.  The reel is mounted on the moving mobile device and the free end of the cable is connected to the power source.  As the machine moves away from the power source, the cable is laid on the ground or in a tray.  As reel on the machine moves towards the power source, the reel picks up the cable and puts it back on the spool.  In retrieve applications, the ratchet mechanism is "locked out".
